Warren Commission Exhibit 139, Carcano Model 38 Serial C2766

Exploration of a historical artifact.
--------------------
Italian Carcano Model 38 in 6.5x52mm, made in the Regia Fabbrica D'Armi di Terni in 1941. Later sold to one Lee Harvey Oswald by way of Klein's Sporting Goods in Chicago, as seen in an advertisement in the February 1963 edition of American Rifleman. It came mounted with a cheap, Japanese-built 4x18 riflescope designed for .22 calibre rifles or air-powered pellet guns, imported by Ordnance Optics Inc. of Hollywood.

My first personal project in ~5 years. Wanted to test myself and keep my skills fresh between lead/managerial work and, as usual, I have enjoyed picking something somewhat niche.
